A place to gather + create.  A. focus on feel good + community.  Located in the heart of Olds Alberta.

 

October 2018 we took over a Kombucha Bar + Yoga Studio.  The space was beautiful + we felt it had so much untapped potential.  Adding a full service hair salon, developing a larger healthy drink menu + building up a local retail section really helped to support the idea of a feel good spot all under one roof.

 

While getting a feel for building our business + making changes on the inside, a fun project also started outside.  A beautiful mural painted by Kevin Johnston was gifted to our community.  Kevin's gorgeous 'Blue Heron' piece created a great landmark out of what once was the Olds Train Station + truly helped bring out Uptowne core to life.  A year later another mural was commissioned by Uptwone Olds + Kevin Johnston - the 'Koi Fish' mural adorns the building beside us.

 

After being open for a few months we discovered the existing business name was no longer serving us - 'The Bar' wasn't attracting our ideal customers  + we decided to rebrand.  Olds Town Square was born out of our recognition of our focus to gather + connect people right in the heart of our community.

 

We pride ourselves in being an inclusive hang out.  We put love + effort into curating the most exceptional experience in everything that we do - from our unique drink menu, our local retail selections, hair services, yoga classes, gatherings + creative endeavours.
